“CICA 아트 페스티벌 2022”에 참여할 아티스트 및 디자이너분들을 모집합니다. 본 행사는 아티스트의 작품 및 제작품을 일반 관람객이 바로 구매할 수 있는 기회를 제공함으로써 예술에 대한 이해 증진과 예술 작품 구매의 대중화를 위해 기획되었습니다. 선정 작가에게는 약 2 x 2 x 3 m (w x l x h)의 공간이 주어지며, 진열대 설치 등 해당 공간 내에서 자유롭게 설치 가능합니다. 선정 작가는 참가비 납부 후 참여가 확정되며, 행사 기간 내 판매된 작품 및 제작품에 대한 미술관 측 커미션은 없습니다. 페스티벌 기간 중 관람객들을 위한 실내외 이벤트 및 퍼포먼스 등 다채로운 행사가 함께 기획될 예정입니다.

– 2022년 11월 11일 – 13일 10:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. 전시 및 판매
– 2022년 11월 12일 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. 작가와의 대화 및 파티
– 2022년 11월 13일 5 p.m. 전시 철수

*공간 배정:
선정된 작가에게 이메일이 갈 예정이며, 참여가 확정되면 공간 배정 안내를 보내드릴 예정입니다. 공간에 따라 크기에 약간의 차이가 있을 수 있습니다. 작가 별 공간 사이는 테이핑으로 구분합니다 (칸막이 없음). 공간 배정의 경우 참가비 납부 순서에 따라 우선권이 있습니다.
*제작품 및 작품 설치:
작품 설치는 2022년 11월 10일에 진행되며, 배정된 공간 내에서 작가가 자유롭게 설치 가능합니다. 작품의 수송에서 발생하는 비용은 작가가 부담합니다. 설치를 위한 진열대, 파티션 및 도구는 작가가 직접 가져와 설치합니다. 설치 시 허용 가능한 도구 및 불가한 도구/재료 등은 추후 선정 작가에게 안내될 예정입니다.
*제작품 및 작품 판매:
제작품 및 작품 판매 시 작가 또는 관계자가 행사 기간 동안 상주하며 직접 판매합니다. 행사 기간 내 판매된 작품 및 제품에 대한 미술관 측 커미션은 없습니다. 판매 시 발생하는 세금 및 수익신고의 책임은 작가 본인에게 있습니다.
* 참여 방법
-영상 온라인 링크 3개 이하, JPG 이미지 (100-500KB 권장) 5개 이하를 간단한 이력 및 자기소개 (PDF 또는 DOC 파일 권장)과 함께 “cicamuseum.submission@gmail.com”으로 보내주세요.
-이메일 제목 란에 “Submission: CICA Art Festival – 작가이름 (영문/한글)”라고 적어주세요.
선정된 작가는 100,000원의 참가비를 지불하게 됩니다.

Call for Artists: CICA Art Festival 2022
CICA Museum invites artists and designers worldwide to participate in “CICA Art Festival 2022.” The event was organized to provide the public with more opportunities to purchase artworks and crafts directly from artists and designers. The space around 2 x 2 x 3 m (w x l x h) will be assigned to each artist, and the artist can freely install works in the assigned space. The selected artist will be required to pay the registration fee to confirm his/her participation. We charge no commission if the work is sold. During the festival, there will be outdoor events and performance for general guests.
*Deadline: March 24, 2022
*Exhibition Dates: October 19 – November 6, 2022
– November 10, 2022, 10:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Installation of artworks and crafts
– November 11 – 13, 2022, 10:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Exhibition
– November 12, 2022, 1-3 p.m. Artists’ Talk and Party
– November 13, 2022, 5-6 pm Dismantling of artworks and crafts
***The dates are subject to change.
*Space Assignment:
We will send an email to selected artists. Once their participations is confirmed, we will send out the space assignment guidelines. There may be some slight difference in sizes of each space depending on rooms. Each section of the artist will be divided by taped lines. The artist who register earlier will have priority in space assignment.
*Installation of Artworks & Crafts
The artist will freely install his/her works in the assigned space, and will need to bring his/her tools, tables, and/or partitions if needed. The artist is responsible for the shipment and delivery of his/her physical work to and from CICA Museum, as well as all related expenses. We will send out the detailed installation guidelines to the participating artists.
*Selling of Works:
The artist or his/her assistant will be present at the exhibition and sell his/her works directly to buyers. We charge no commission if the work is sold. The artist will be responsible for the tax report if s/he make a profit.
*How to submit your work:
– Please send us up to 3 direct links to video and/or up to 5 JPG images (100-500 kilobytes per image recommended), and your bio. Please email them to “cicamuseum.submission@gmail.com.”
– Please write “Submission: CICA Art Festival – Your Name” in the subject line of your email.
If the work is selected, the artist will be required to pay the registration fee: $90 (USD).
